At Brightmill, we have over ten years of experience in placing interim CFOs with various core competencies in a wide range of industries. This is for both listed and unlisted companies. With a unique network of top candidates, we can quickly help you find the right person for challenging key assignments.
We work with both large and small customers. In most sectors.

Focus on customer needs
In almost all our placements, time is a critical factor. When a client needs an interim manager, it has to move fast. The requirements for a CFO vary greatly between different companies and industries. The same applies to finance managers. A key success factor in our work is to deeply understand the needs picture. We do this through close dialog with the customer at the most initial stage of the assignment.
Thanks to their extensive experience and many assignments, our executive recruiters have a good understanding of what is required in different situations and are able to turn clients’ wishes into clear, attractive requirement profiles.

Our work process
An overall needs analysis is carried out at the first contact. Thanks to our long experience and experienced executive recruiters, we can quickly understand the needs and advise on any questions or concerns.
Based on the needs analysis, we create, preferably together with the customer in real time, a requirements profile that defines requirements for skills and experience. The requirements profile then forms the basis for the continued process through dialogue with candidates, candidate presentations, reference taking and follow-up during the interim assignment.
Interim recruitment has to be fast. The secret is to have a large network of candidates with up-to-date information on their skills and availability. We have that at Brightmill. To find the best candidates, we always rely on our own network of carefully selected candidates across Sweden, Denmark and Germany. We work quickly and efficiently thanks to our proprietary system support that makes us spot-on and time-efficient.
In order to make the selection process as efficient as possible, we use our digital profile tool to compare candidates' competences with the requirements profile. This allows us to ensure the objectivity of the selection and that the candidates contacted have a relevant profile.
At Brightmill, we work exclusively with competence-based recruitment. The responsible executive recruiter interviews the candidates and prepares a clear candidate profile to complement the candidate's CV. Brightmill presents the most interesting candidates to the client.
The client interviews selected candidates and selects their final candidate.
Background checks are carried out on all candidates we present. Reference checks are carried out by Brightmill on the final candidate. It is also based on the requirements profile and supplemented by a series of generic questions that are compiled in writing in an easy-to-understand format.
Contracts are signed digitally with the client and then with the consultant. Brightmill also provides assistance with start-up and onboarding.
Value creation with interim mangement
Hiring an interim manager is a great way to create value and accelerate development for your company. Another reason for hiring an executive-level consulting solution is the outside perspective. An interim manager creates the conditions to look at the organization with a fresh eye. This can lead to both new insights and constructive solutions.
A common perception of interim managers is that their assignments are often of an administrative nature. This is true to some extent. At the same time, the vast majority of our consultants testify that their assignments often shift from administrative to development. Clients are seizing the opportunity to benefit from the experience and competence offered by the interim manager.
